Dave Cleveland’s newest guitar project, “Hope in Motion,” is an outstanding collection of feel-good instrumentals that will lighten hearts and put smiles on faces with its focus on hope, peace, joy and encouragement.
To create the twelve inspiring tunes of “Hope in Motion,” David collaborated with three other world-class musicians: keyboardist Dennis Patton, bassist Craig Nelson, and drummer John Hammond. For twelve days, they wrote a song each morning, then worked on the recording in the afternoon and evening, with Dave adding his signature melodic leads on McPherson acoustic guitars. The result is more than an hour of organic-yet-sophisticated musical pleasure.
Dave has established himself as one of the world’s premier guitarists, having recorded and toured with a “Who’s Who” of top artists, including Steven Curtis Chapman, Point of Grace, Michael W. Smith, Twila Paris, 4 Him, Crystal Lewis, Michael O’Brien, Cindy Morgan, Anointed, Russ Taff, Steve Green, Wes King and Out Of The Grey, and having been part of major projects like soundtracks for the films “The Apostle” and Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, and such acclaimed projects as Steven Curtis Chapman’s Grammy award winning “The Live Adventure,” Avalon’s music special for the PAX network, “Live At Woodlands” featuring Crystal Lewis, and even the White House Salutes Gospel Music event. Dave has also composed numerous themes which have aired on networks including A&E, HDTV and WGN.
For Dave Cleveland, “Hope in Motion” is a testament to his continued musical growth as he distills his masterful style into its most perfect, understated form. Whether you listen at work, in the car, or relaxing at home, “Hope in Motion” is an album you’ll want to hear over and over again.
